The Saber Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit and sister organization to the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce(IHCC) for the purpose of awarding scholarships and promoting Latino education. The Saber Foundation has a mission to promote the educational, cultural, and economic status of Idaho’s Latino community.

The Saber Foundation recognizes the importance of an education for the success and economic well-being of our citizens, our state and our country. In an ever-more competitive world, having a college education is key to the success of our youth and the prosperity of our state.

Since 2007 we have helped 6 students achieve their dream of pursing a college education.  In 2009, we were proud to an additional full-tuition scholarship to an Idaho high school graduate, and supportive services to our continuing scholars.

In the upcoming school year of 2010-2011, the Saber Foundation, through fundraising events, will continue to provide a full-tuition scholarship to at least one Idaho student.

One of the means to raise funds for scholarships is an annual golf tournament, hosted by the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Our foundation also relies on individual and corporate (tax deductable) donations.
