Thank You! You have already take the first step to helping our students by visiting our site to find out more about our mission and the youth we serve. There are many ways that you can make a life-long difference for our students. You can find many of the most popular methods below, but the list is not extensive. If you do not find information that matches your personal interest in supporting our students, please contact us. We value your time, talent and treasure and will work with you to build a bright future for Idaho’s Latino youth. All donations are tax deductible. Method 1: Make a monetary gift One Time or Annual Gifts can be made by cash, check or credit cards through our website, by mail, fax or in person to an officer of the Saber Foundation. All gifts may be designated to specific programs including the Idaho Hispanic Scholarship Fund or to our General Operating Fund. Gifts to our General Operating Fund will be allocated by our board to strengthen all of the foundation’s programs. Method 2: Give your time Volunteers are needed in every aspect of our work. We are looking for adult mentors for our Padrino program, committee members for our PATHS (Professional & Academic Tracks for Hispanic Students) program and fundraising committee, office and research assistance, volunteer leadership, and more. If you have an interest in giving your time to help us fulfill our mission contact Carmen Gonzales by e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Method 3: Corporate Sponsorship and Foundation Support Our staff stands ready to help you link your organization’s passion with opportunities that create exceptional impact on students and Idaho’s Latino community. Mutually beneficial partnerships with corporations and foundations play a critical role in our mission. Our success in raising philanthropic funds relies on our ability to identify common areas of desired impact. Method 4: Endowment Gifts Endowed Gifts of $25,000 or more are permanently established with specific guidelines for the use of the earnings while the corpus of the gift remains intact. These gifts are often made outright or over a period of 2 – 3 years. Planned Gifts involve the transfer of more complex assets such as land or a home, and may include an estate bequest or the establishment of a life-income trust. Method 6: In-Kind Gifts In-Kind gifts represent the donation of products or services which can be given directly to our students (computers, books, etc.), sold (autos, auction items) or used to assist the operations of the foundation.
